No prior knowledge or experience is required for our foundation courses, including Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner. People new to Scrum and people already working with it both get value from the same session, because our trainers adapt the depth to the group in front of them.
Advanced courses are the exception: the Advanced Certified Scrum Master course expects an active CSM certificate, and our Advanced Product Owner training assumes you already work in the Product Owner role.
Both. Most of our open trainings are classroom sessions at venues across Belgium (Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven, Mechelen and Brussels) and we also schedule online sessions throughout the year.
Each date on our training overview shows its format, so you can filter for whichever works for you. Lunch, coffee breaks and the Planning Poker deck apply to classroom sessions only.
Our open trainings are given in Dutch or English, and the language is listed on every individual date so you can pick the one you prefer. For in-house trainings we can arrange other languages on request.
We deliberately keep groups small so there is room for real conversation, hands-on exercises and your own cases. Small groups are what make the interactive format work.
Every certified training includes the course itself, the certification and a full set of materials:
You receive the official certificate for the course you attend, issued by the certifying body rather than by iLean. Our Scrum courses lead to Scrum Alliance certificates: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM).
Courses that are not tied to an external certification, such as our Advanced Product Owner training and Leading with Obeya, come with an iLean certificate of attendance.
Pick your date on our training overview and register via our website. You add the session to your cart and complete the checkout, after that you’ll receive your confirmation by email. We will create an invoice and send it to you via email afterwards.
Every date on our website lists its venue, language, trainer and price up front.
Yes, our certified trainings are eligible for KMO-portefeuille. Indicate that you want to use it during your registration and we will send you the further instructions. Don’t forget to also register the training on the ‘KMO Portefeuille’ platform using our recognition number: DV.O 246005.
We send your invoice digitally via email after registration.
Get in touch with us as soon as you know (at least 3 weeks in advance, except for illness) and we will go over the different options with you, whether that is moving you to a later date or transferring your seat to a colleague.
Our open trainings are booked one person at a time, so each colleague completes their own registration.
If you are sending a whole team, an in-house training is usually the better option: you get the group together, at your location, with the content aimed at your own context. Often at a lower cost per person.
Yes. During an in-house training, we always start from where you currently stand and tailor the content, style and exercises to what your team needs. Everyone learns differently, so a one-size-fits-all training doesn’t always work. Our trainers align the material with the people sitting in front of them and work with a mix of learning methods.
